In 1857, Charles Baudelaire published Les Fleurs du Mal, a collection of poetry that challenged the conventions of its time. The work explores the tension between beauty and decay, and between established forms and artistic freedom.

In Les Fleurs du Mal, RVig translates the structure of Baudelaire's 126 poems into flowing ribbons. Each ribbon evolves according to the structure of the words, creating a generative composition in which poetry, code and visual form intersect.

Limited edition of 10 fine art prints, personally printed by the artist in his studio on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm paper. Each print is hand-signed, numbered and individually prepared for shipping.
